Have you tried running photoshop and final cut pro on your new MacBookPro? I have heard that it does not work at all, while others claim that it just runs a bit slow…Can anyone tell me some facts of their experience, please?…

I don’t own PS Mac or FCP. But I have read on several sites that PS works fine- and is decently fast. Not fast enough for everyday heavy duty production, but fast enough for web work. Once it goes univerdsal it should be really zippy (everything else is).

You should bring a box of “it’saboy’s” to church to celebrate your new baby!

I wish you many hours of supreme joy with it. We all love our Macs.

oh oh…no posts for several days. Does that mean you are having other fun with your new love or is this an indication of a problem?

Problem? What PROBLEM? I DON’T HAVE A PROBLEM!
Seriously though, I’ve just been busy
…and not with the MacBook.
I’m past the “Ooooh Shiny” phase and need to install some apps so I can do real work on it.
Pages and Keynote are nice, I don’t believe I’ll be buying MS Office at all… if Apple would release a nice spreadsheet app that’d put a nail in that coffin forever.

You could always get NeoOffice (OpenOffice for mac). It’s not pretty, but it does the job for me.
Also, if you are looking for web stuff, I use TextWrangler for editing, and CyberDuck for FTP (both free). I like them both a lot.

Great pictures, congratulations on the latest & greatest! I especially like the flickr slideshow http://www.flickr.com/photos/nickciske/sets/72057594069408951/show/
One of these days, I’d love to get one.. in the meantime, would love to see how a vlog would record off of the built-in iSight! *hint hint*
